Between The Covers Live! is on the road to celebrate Agatha Christie, the bestselling novelist of all time, with a line-up guaranteed to deliver a thrilling dive into the world of crime thrillers. The undisputed “Queen of Crime” has sold more than 2 billion books in over 100 languages. This year marks the 50th anniversary of her death, so there’s no better time to celebrate her enduring popularity. If you’re partial to Poirot or marvel at Marple or even if you’ve never escaped into Christie’s world, our on-stage ensemble will enlighten you as to why Christie’s books really deserve to be evergreen.
Host Amanda Ross gets between the covers of Christie with the bestselling author, actor and director, Ben Miller and bestselling author Lucy Foley, who’s been trusted by Agatha Christie Limited to write a brand new Marple novel Murder at the Grand Alpine Hotel, 50 years after Christie’s last Marple adventure was published. They’ll talk about their own books, Christie’s influence and share their favourite Christie novels, along with other star guests. Signing sessions with the stars will give audiences the perfect excuse to treat themselves to a Christie for Christmas!

He’s also a brilliant author and as well as writing several blockbuster books for children, he’s just published his debut novel for adults, which also harks back to the Golden Age of literature.
Co-Founder & CEO of Cactus TV and Executive Producer of Between The Covers Live!, Amanda has created and produced major book-based TV campaigns for over 20 years, including BBC One’s Between The Covers, Richard & Judy’s Book Club, Channel 4’s TV Book Club and The National Book Awards. She personally selects the books for these campaigns and has helped launch many bestselling authors. She oversees all of Cactus’ book and writing initiatives, and in 2007 her TV book choices accounted for over 26% of all books sold in the UK. She was named number one in The Observer’s list of the 50 most powerful people in publishing.
Rob Rinder is a barrister turned broadcaster and Sunday Times No. 1 bestselling author. Called to the bar in 2001, Rob went on to specialise in cases involving murder, international fraud, money laundering and more. He started his broadcast career with Judge Rinder and is now a regular host on GMB, co-hosts BBC Two’s Amazing Hotels and stars alongside Rylan in The Grand Tour. Rob has written four bestselling ‘whodunnit’ novels inspired by Agatha Christie and his own experiences as a barrister.

Lucy has been entrusted by Agatha Christie Limited to write the first Miss Marple continuation novel, picking up where Agatha Christie left off 50 years ago.
He’s the quintessential English gentleman, who’s been a beloved fixture of British showbiz for over 55 years. He first captured the global imagination in 1981 as Lord Andrew Lindsay in the Oscar-winning masterpiece Chariots of Fire. Since then he’s gone from starring in Steven Spielberg’s epic Empire of the Sun and anchoring hit sitcoms like Don’t Wait Up, to causing chaos on the cobbles of Corrie.
